School Uniform

Uniform is worn at Chipping Hill Primary School to develop a sense of pride in being a member of the school community. We do however understand that the price of uniform can become expensive and as such do not expect children to attend school with the logo emblazened upon garments (unless parents so wish).

The school uniform is designed to be affordable and accessible to all through many large chain supermarkets. The Friends of Chipping Hill also resell used uniform that is in excellent condition - dates and times are sent at request and via the school newsletter.

Chipping Hill uniform can be ordered from various sites, please see details below.

PE uniform

Your child will require two PE kits in separate named bags.  An indoor kit consisting of a pair of navy shorts, Chipping Hill blue PE top, black plimsolls

An outdoor kit consisting of a dark coloured track suit, a plain tee-shirt, socks and trainers.

We like the children to wear black well-fitting sensible shoes which they can put on independently. Boots, open-toe sandals, shoes with heels, trainers and Doodles are not appropriate for every day footwear for school.

All shoulder length/long hair must be tied back using a simple blue or white hair band, scrunchie or bobble. Hair should not be shaved below grade 3 – no patterns or lines to be shaved into the head as this is inappropriate for school. Hair styles that are clear fashion statements and coloured hair are not permitted.
